  Israel Nash Gripka
Edit Review Israel Nash Gripka  Americana
Maverick magazine (September 2009) ". . . Gripka actually comes across like the lovechild of John Fogerty and Eddie Hinton. Put another way, he has soul and passion and a voice that sounds like his words are being ripped out of him as much as sung. . . . The album is printed as an LP, the booklet and digipak are sepia-hued and distressed which, while admittedly a marketing ploy, points up his connection with both his roots and those who came before him. With writing this good and the intensity he brings to his performance, it's unlikely to be long before those who will come after are citing him as an influence."
