Edit Review Scotty Melton  Acoustic
Scotty Melton began playing in bars at the age of 16. For the next couple years he made a pretty good living as a self-described 'human jukebox'. Though Scotty had written poetry since grade school and dabbled in song- writing, it wasn't until a chance meeting with legendary Texas songwriter Guy Clark that he began to think of writing songs seriously. Over the next few years Scotty honed his craft and traveled extensively playing gigs from Texas to Chicago, Nashville to L. A. He also played with such notable song- writers as Malcolm Holcolme, Steve Young, Richard Dobson, Stacey Earle, Ray Wylie Hubbard, R. B. Morris, Scott Miller and many, many more. Dur- ing this time he recorded an album in San Antonio aptly titled 'Unknown in San Antone'.
