  The Last Good Year
Edit Review The Last Good Year  Rock
Kicking off 2008 with a bang, TLGY opened up for Island/Def Jam recording artist Jon McLaughlin and hasn’t stopped since. Along with McLaughlin, TLGY has shared the stage with Saliva (Island), The Elms (Universal) and American Bang (Epic); just a few among a power list of names. After a solid year of shows around the Midwest and beyond, 2008 has proven to be a productive year for The Last Good Year; including signing with Nashville, Tennessee manager Adam Wood, of Wood Artist Management, and a TV/Film licensing deal with Shadow Mountain Music Group, also of Nashville. These new partnerships have lifted The Last Good Year to the next level, generating an infectious buzz across the industry and garnering record label interest. The words “I wanna be something other than me”, a lyric from their popular release Racecar Driver, ring true for this hot, up and coming rock band. They desire to be something more than just run-of-the-mill. You won’t find any gimmicks, just four guys playing rock ‘n’ roll. “The only true rock ‘n’ roll feel you can find from a modern day band. Every song will stick with you. It’s bands like this that can bring back the true passion of rock and appreciation for musical talent.” (iTunes review). The Last Good Year continues to play across the Midwest and will expand nation-wide in 2009. This band will captivate you. You will be singing their songs as if you’ve heard them many times before.
