 Anthony Fiacco and The Blackjacks (formerly "The Echoes") are a Washington DC based band which combines the blues of the grittier British Invasion bands, blues punk of the late seventies, with heavy danceable garage style grooves. The band quickly gained noteriety around the DC-NOVA area for their high energy live shows which grasp the essence of what gritty rock is all about. They were recently signed with the Indie label SMOD based out of New York City, and have released a 5 song EP under their former name "The Echoes". A full length album is scheduled for release in Summer of 2007.
