The Frequency is a 99 capacity live music venue and night club located in downtown Madison just off the Capitol Square at 121 W. Main St. We host a wide variety of local, regional, national and international acts spanning varying styles 7 nights a week. Come down on Tuesday evenings (5:30-8) for our weekly Chicago Blues Open Jam hosted by A.J. Love and featuring some of blues' finest in our intimate and confortable room. All musicians welcome to sign up and jam. Every second and fourth Friday from 5:30-7 we host The Gomers and their superb Slappy Hour Variety Show.You never know what you're going to get, and some of Madison's finest acts will be joining them each show. Mondays will be showcasing the bi-weekly Dan Potacke Show, a free live talk show event with guests from all over Madison.
